Sarah Kay On Her Way To The Europeans?

A local TV broadcaster visited Sarah Kay in training recently. Sarah Kay is the junior European champion of 2008 and 2009 as individual and also member of the European junior squad champion of 2008, which took gold as well. In 2011 she took silver in the Senior Europeans in the individual female class, at the Worlds 2012 she came home with bronze.

In the short clip, Sarah told that she trained alone for most of her life. I remember that she was injured a few times and couldn’t vault. Now she is back and has the big goal to qualify for the European senior championships this year. It looks good so far, she is one of the four German competitors in Aachen, three of which are allowed to go to Ebreichsdorf. She finished the compulsory as fourth German with 0,078 points behind Kristina Boe.

What we also see in the video is that Sarah is again injured. She has a capsular rupture on the left hand.
