CVI Bern: Submission Date For Entries Extended To June 4, 2017

Although the CVI Bern in Switzerland is already next weekend, vaulters can still register for the event. The deadline was prolonged until June 4, 2017. So, if the season did not went like championship candidates have planned, they get another chance to reach the qualifying scores they need.

A starter list is already online. “List” is a little underrated, it is more a database which can be searched for various keywords. This was developed by the organizers of CVI Pezinok and Creatix Slovakia. I like this progress very much, it is much better than never ending pdf files, numerous downloads or too small photos on which I can never read anything. Great news for the fans at home!

What the organizers like is the new entry system. It’s for the organizers and the national federation a time saver as recording the entries was one of the most time-consuming tasks before the competition in the last years. And for national federation it’s also very convenient they need only FEI numbers of the vaulter, horse and lunger all other information (name of horse, lunger, competitor etc.) is fetched from the FEI database. As it seems more organizer will adapt this system next year as I heard…

They also use the new vaulting music platform. which is an awesome time saver. No CDs, USB sticks or e-mails anymore. Just the neat database with all songs.

Sounds like a good organization. And they even top it with a golden prize for the winners: A golden coin which consist of 90% real gold.
