Training Camp In Austria For Itermediate Level And Above

It is great how many clubs offer training camps these days. When I was a child there were only riding holidays which is definitely not the same. So, here is another summer holiday suggestion:

The club Seefeld in Austria (around 30 km south of Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany) is offering a training camp for intermediate and advanced vaulters. Participants should vault on a L (easy) level which means, they should master the mount, flag with the arm, swings forward and backward, standing and flank in canter.

The athletes will train 6 hours per day for three days. The focus is on the technique of compulsories, but there are also some side sports: jazz dance and strength training with a former international hockey player who will teach a lot about team spirit.

Extra fun will be the overnight in the gym with all the vaulters (participants have to bring their own sleeping bag and so on). The camp will be taught in German. The whole three days cost 250 Euros, included are three meals per day. Registrations can be sent to Full information can be found on the flyer.

Who wants a full week training camp and speaks English can also take a look at the summer camp in the south of Norway.
