Vet Check In Le Mans: 112 of 113 Horses Have Passed

Most of the horses and participants arrived on Monday in Le Mans. The Austrians were impressed by how much the facility grew since the last championship there.

On Tuesday at 08:00 AM the first test had to be passed: the vet check. 113 horses were inspected inside of the main arena. The inspection place had a length of 20 meters. More common are 30 meters. 111 horses received a “passed” with the first try. Only two went into the holding box. Echt Stark from Köln and Lugano from Italy. Lugano passed the inspection at the second time. Echt Stark who was supposed to carry the Brazilian squad was not fit to compete.

For the rest of the day some vaulters had a final training, others their first barbecue. At 07:00 PM the opening ceremony took place outside. All competitors with their flags walked into the arena and took many group pictures.

Today is the first competition day. The junior squads and individuals will show their first compulsory starting at 02:00 PM. A livestream will be available.
