World Cup: Is Leipzig The Last Leg Or The Final?

Today, the last leg of the world cup takes place with the chance to earn points for the qulification to the final. All this will happen in Leipzig at the exhibition “Partner Pferd”.

But will it be the last leg or is it allready the final? The FEI couldn’t find an organizer for the final yet because the event in Vienna had to be cancelled. Now everyone is waiting for a new date to plan the trip to any destination in Europe. Especially Simone Jäiser is curious if the show goes on. If not this weekend will be her very last individual competition as a vaulter. So, watch her (maybe) last dances with pleasure, she will only come back to Leipzig as coach or lunger.

You can watch if you pay for FEI TV today from 17:15 to 18:35h and tomorrow from six o’clock. Results will be here.

The participants are: Kristina Boe (GER), Marina Mohar (SUI), Simone Jäiser (SUI), Corinna Knauf (GER), Regina Burgmayr (GER), Lukas Klouda (CZE), Lukas Heppler (SUI), Ramin Simon Rahimi (AUT), Jannis Drewell (GER), Thomas Brüsewitz (GER), Viktor Brüsewitz (GER), Francesco Bortoletto (ITA), Daniel Kaiser (GER), Pia Engelberty & Torben Jacobs (GER), Zoe Maruccio & Syra Schmid (SUI), Lucie & Simon Chevrel (FRA), Erika Di Forti & Lorenzo Lupacchini (ITA) & Jolina Ossenberg-Engels & Timo Gerdes (GER).

The standings, especially within the pas-de-deux competitions are really close. Take a look here.
