Tomorrow is the premiere of the first “Vaulters Only” show ever! And everybody can be a part of it. The concept is pretty new. A regular team that includes stars like Thomas and Victor Brüsewitz, Marc Phillip Götting, Kristina Boe and maybe you, rehearses a performance. Clubs can apply for a show. That means, they provide their indoor arena and all the vaulters can be part of the show. Isn’t that great? The show will not book any big exhibition halls but stay on a small level, which means they won’t reach every horse enthusiatic in town but more like the local clus and vaulters. The premiere takes place in Hamburg, Itzehoe will follow.
The show is called Livaboria. And it has special meaning to the regular team: LIV comes from “living” which stands for the whole spectrum of vaulting levels, ages and animals who take part in the show. A stands for Airbus, a horse which accompanied many vaulters of the team and also stands for dreams and flying in the air. BO comes from the second important horse Bobby. And the last part is deduced from the word Gloria (in English glory) which describes the aim of the team to create a high-quality show.
The team, mostly pupils and students, invests a lot of time in practices and also into equipment. So, be prepared for a show with lots of music and light effects. They don’t expect to live from the income but are satisfied with the fun they have to present their sport. You can support Livaboria if you apply for a show, to take part or just buy a ticket for 19€ and be amazed by a great show.
I am curious how the first show tomorrow turns out and what’s lying ahead of them. Because on thing is sure, it is a great idea!
