Airbus In The Newspaper

A few days ago the big German newspaper “Die Welt” published an article about Victor Brüsewitz horse Airbus on their webpage: “This horse is a pighead”.

Airbus is now 24 years old & will participate with one of the Brüsewitzbrothers at the European championships in Aachen. He came to Irina Lenkheit when he was 5. Before he was a supposed to jump but got injured which was operated. Nevertheless she bought him because she liked his jumbo-like size. He doesn’t like training, it is boring, but when he sees he trailer he gets so excited. But to get him there was a long way.

Airbus didn’t like lungeing & running in circles first. He caprioled, stopped or reared. It didn’t looked like he might become a vaulting horse. But Irina Lenkheit convinced him finally.

Since 2013 he is competing with Thomas Brüsewitz. And he loves to travel. The boring live at home isn’t made for him. His vaulter builds on him. In the article Thomas says without him, it wouldn’t work because he is fighting for him & forgives evry mistake.
