Vaulting Picture of the Year

If vaulting gets harder and more amazing each year, vaulting pictures get more artistic and more expressive. This year was a historic one. Almost all CVIs had live streams, enabling fans around the world to watch it as if they were there. As we grow more social we have more access to what’s going on in other places and vaulting photographers are a great part of what the vaulting community is today.

So here we are celebrating the end of the year. Let’s take a look at what these photographers have seen in their countries and celebrate the fact that we are so close to each other, yet so far. As distances grow smaller, our world grows bigger and image is a big part of that.

Pick your favorite picture at the poll below all the pictures.

(Each picture has a number of identification to make it easier. On the poll they are sorted through the number and through the author).

I am a 26 years old psychologist from Brazil, although I have graduated in psychology I work with media and communications, with a focus on data analysis. I am currently heading towards a master’s degree at the London School of Economics (LSE). I am not vaulting anymore, but I did for over 10 years. As it very often happens in our sport, I never really left, I taught at a social project for a few years and have been working on VN since 2014.

    Hey guys,
I wonder if it is possible to vote more often than once?!
Because I did it just once and I am watching this poll since its beginning and I don’t think, everybody did so.
Referring to your Facebook posts there is a clear leader, but here everytime my favorite is lightly on top, the second one gets about 4% immediatly.
Also until yesterday my favorite photographer had an enormous lead, which indicates the opinion of the voters.

    Thanks for reading.
    L.
